Anderton & Rowland the amusement caterers were the owners of this engine from new and it worked with their gondola ride. It was sold on to T. Whitelegg & Sons Ltd. in 1932. It was acquired for preservation in 1953 by the Gladiator Club of Redruth, who restored and rallied it until 1984. In 1985 it was purchased by D. Goodwin, who completely rebuilt it, with the help of friends. It was rallied as a road locomotive for two years before being re-fitted with showman's accessories in 1992.
