1905 Aveling & Porter 6nhp compound cylinder (Convertible) Traction Engine

Delivered new on 6th September to J. Buchanan of Lavington Park, Petworth, Sussex and was used on his estate as a general purpose engine and road roller. The traction engine front end could be changed simply by bolting on a roller headstock and front rolls. The rear wheels would also be changed for a smooth set.
