This engine was purchased new by agricultural contractors S Vousden of Canterbury, Kent and was used by them until 1945. It last commercial owner was the Folkestone Water Company, who used it for mole ploughing on Romney Marsh and for powering a steam winch for well work in the Alkham Valley of Kent.
