This engine passed through two owners from new before being acquired by the War dept. in 1914, who used it to haul munitions in France. After the First World War it was bought by Devon County Council and was converted into a roller. It was in use up to 1964 when it then lay dormant for several years until purchased for preservation in the 1970's. It has been restored to its original tractor form.
